Why Is The Fasting Sugar Of A Diabetic Female High?

Hi, My mother is a diabetic patient,as we do regular checkup,on yesterday checking it was showing that my mother fasting is 235 and PP 263,I m not able to understand this??why fasting is so high??Is this a matter of consideration,is there any tinge of tension.kindly guide as i m highly worried??

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The blood sugar levels you have mentioned higher. If this happens a couple of times, please check HbA1c level. even if that is higher, then meet the treating doctor and revise the doses (either increase of dose or addition of drugs).

This happens in diabetes. Need not worry much.
