Why does ear pain while drinking water
My daughter 12 yr old has been suffering from cold lately for more than 2 months ......we stay in riyadh and its winter now.last month she got a swelling under her right ear which came up and down suddenly.....painful while eating..anti biotics was given..two weeks back again she got it but was permanent this time....the swelling didnt go down...again antibiotic and other medicines were given.....now her ear pains from inside while drinking water....pls.help

I have gone through your query.Your daughters problem can be middle ear infection with a possibility of mastioditis. An examination with ENT specialist can rule out that.Nasal decongesants proper antibiotics and maneurs will be needed for that.Hope this may help you.
