Why Do I Have Stabbing Pain On The Upper Left Side Right Under My Rib?

I have a sharp stabbing pain on the upper left side right under my rib. sometimes the pain goes to my back too in the same area. it doesn't hurt to take a deep breath, but i sometimes feel like i could throw up. when i sit still the pain decreases, but any movement causes the stabbing feeling to be horrible.

It can be a rib fracture..if u were been hit or if any other trauma...other factors to consider is your age, any other comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension.. if it is associated with breathing difficulty, or perspiration ,then heart issue should also be solved...so, get ur chest xray & ECG done atleast.
