hiii.what s mean by constipation followed by diarrhea then constipation with stomache pain? my mum (55 years old)complain from constipation and diarrhea at the same time with stomache pain what s the cause .it may be acold or what?

constipation alternating with diarrhea may happen in some dz like chronic dysentry, chronic constipation, even IBS, and other forms of severe intestinal disorders. some times even long term use of laxatives may change the bowel habits. she needs proper examination and diagnosis. condition is curable. please see a family physician.
