Why Do I Get A Watery, Yellowish Discharge From The Right Nostril On Tipping My Head ?

When I tip my head, A very watery, yellowish, Liquid pours out of my nose , Its like a stream, It only comes out of my right nostril though. I was working in a section of my work that had me vacuuming cars, could this have been a allergic reaction to something in someones car. I did just get over a case of strep throat , Perhaps this is a sinus infection? Is this something that I need to get checked out?

Hello
Your problem seems most probably a sinus infection due to chronic allergy but there are other causes also. You require check up with an ENT surgeon for this matter and treatment accordingly. Secondly you have to get treated for this nasal discharge or else it will lead to this type of throat infection as you already mentioned. Usually it is an allergic rhinotis to start with, then it becomes sinusitis then the infection spreads down to the throat and this goes on as cycles . So identify what is producing your allergy and avoid the exposure by using masks or some other barriers which will be a permanent solution for your problem

take care
