Hi, Sometimes loose stools can occur after taking azithromycin (Azee), it is not uncommon, it could a result of an allergic reaction to it. Next time make sure to tell your doctor about this side effect so he can prescribe a different medication. However, if you have stopped taking azithromycin and still you have this problem, then you need to consult your concerned doctor because sometimes it can make the diarrhea worse if another medicine is taken to stop it.
