Why Did I Spot After 2 Weeks Of HPT Being Positive?
Actually my period was expected to be on 21st of this month and I havnt got it as yet. So when I did the pregnancy test at home, it gave me weak positive result. When I went to my doc for the test, he too got a weak positive result. After that, I got 2 to 3 very light blood spotting. What should I take it as?

There are a few possibilities: 1. It was a missed abortion and hence the test was weak positive. The bleeding may be due to the abortion. 2. Another reason may be a threatened abortion that can produce bleeding. 3. local causes like a cervical polyp or erosion. Less likely but need to be ruled out.
Please get a per speculum examination by a doctor and a transvaginal ultrasound to clarify things and decide further treatment. Hope this helped. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
