Hi
I will try my best to answer your query.
I advice you to prevent eating very hot food for few days, and consume less spicy food.
Consider consuming cold food or drinks. Avoid alcohol and smoking if you consume them.
It needs few days to heal. If the pain persists even after week i advice you to see surgeon and get your self examined.

Hope my answer will be helpful for you.
Take care.
