hi sir/mam i have 35days pregnency.i bought undezire kit from medical store .the sales person advised me to tooke 2 misoprostol 200mg first day morning in empty stomach orrally and one in veginally.then 2nd day take mifepristone 200mg orally 1 misoprotol 200 mg veginall.i took this medicine as per this .when i get bleeding

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should not take on counter medicines for abortion without consulting gynecologist. Because sometimes gestational sac can be seen in fallopian tube or ovary which is called as ectopic pregnancy, in that case if tablets are taken without confirming that can lead to rupture of ectopic pregnancy and it will become an emergency. You have not taken as the tablets exactly as per the schedule but as you have taken all the tablets probably they will act. In case of intrauterine pregnancy after completion of tablets within 12 to 24 hours you will expect the bleeding and in around 72 hours the process will be completed. But better to undergo ultrasound at least now to be on safe side.
