Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...The ulceration of the BCG vaccine site is quite common. It might take 6-8 weeks to heal and some times it can form an abscess in the armpit too. Do not worry about it if the baby is thriving well and gaining weight well. No need to apply any cream or lotion for it.

Pediatrician Dr. Suresh K Yadav's  Response
It usually takes 6 weeks to heal , there may 2-3 cycles of pus formation , the ulcer
at the vaccination site may persist for a few weeks before formation of scar. It does not cause pain and no treatment is required for this condition unless there is secondary bacterial infection or baby is immunocompromised . if baby is uncomfortable do consult your paediatrician.
