What's The Cause & Cure For Itch Around The Vagina Mouth During Bleeding From Abortion?
Helo Doc, i had an abortion on d 10th of feb n started bleeding on 12th n it stopped on 16th though m still seeing brownish discharge bt along d 14th or so i started having this itcing around the mouth of my vagina and a little area of the vulva. Could it be because i am using pads or what? Hope the itching is not an infection? If it is how do i treat it. Thank you.

Hi. This itching can be due local dermatitis from contact with pads, or some fungal infection already persisting before abortion also. It usually gets precipitated after a course of antibiotics also. You can apply Candid B cream ,some antihistaminics and anti fungal treatment after consulting your dr. Also get one pap smear done after this treatment.
