What's Causing Recurring Pain In The Outer Ears Around The Back And Towards The Skull?

i have a terrible pain on the outer ear its not inside but all around the outer ear & very painful when i touch this started early morning on friday pain is around the back of the ear towards the skull what can be the cause?Its not constant but comes in a shooting pain

Hi, you have otitis externa. Its a outer ear infection.
It occurs because of ear bud usage.
Take pain killers and hot fomentation. If pain persist, thsn you may need antibiotics so please consult doctor.
