What Would Be A Lethal Dose Of Clonidine?

I am a mental health clinincian. I had a client take 30 tablets of 0.1 mg clonidine in a suicide attempt. Would that have been a legal dose? if not, what would be. i want to make sure the persons MD doesn t prescribe enough for a lethal dose.

Sorry but it is not possible answer your question as what is the lethal dose.But yes let me tell you one thing that no MD in this world and in his full senses will prescribe any drug in lethal dose.Doctor is meant to treat and that is what an MD does by prescribing a therapeutic dose to a person.It is the mistake of the person when he tries to commit suicide using any drug prescribed.So if you are really worried you will have to stop those people from taking excess of medicines or drugs for suicide.
