What Treatment Should I Take For Mucus Leaking?

Hi this morning without any warning I passed a light brown mucus from my anus, i had no sensation of needing to have my bowels open at the time, no sensation of wind either! I Probably expelled about 15-20 mls only but enough to show on my pyjamas.....this was followed but severe stomach cramps, i had my bowels open a little bit not a proper bowel action, the stool was normal not loose. I kept getting the urge for about an hour, i kept getting the sensation of diarrhoea but when i went to the toilet i would pass a bit of mucus again and another small bowel action with a lot of cramps.....any ideas! I worried because of not having the sensation and having this mucus leaking out without realising what was happening!!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, symptom of abdomen cramp prior to defecation could be the cause of bacillary dysentery again if the stool contains the mucus then it may be infection only, most of the time such symptoms gives best result with Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day with Tab Chloroquine 250 mg once in day for five days, it is better to confirmed the clinical condition first some time it may be due to protozoa infection and if this is so then single dose of Sacnidazole 1 g can be tried hope this information helps.
