What Test Needed For Bowel Problems?
5'3" female, 36years, 211lbs
Diagnosis- osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic migraines,
No gall bladder (approx 15years), excellent cholesterols, no sign of diabetes, positive Rh factor, thyroid levels normal with 10mg synthroid daily. Drink plenty of water/fiber.
Lyrica, zytram, tramacet, amitriptaline
My bowel movements have changed, are now irregular in frequency (between twice daily and every three days) and quantity (one "banana and four). Feces is "sticky" (think natural peanut butter) , grainy, and smelly. Act of voiding accompanied with extreme nausea, chills and lightheadedness. Along with nausea et all comes severe abdominal pain (upper and lower) which end half an hour after pooping.
This has been accompanied by urgent need to pee, extreme post exertional malaise, increased sleep (15hrs/day), severe lower back pain and numbness/increased sensitivity to outer right thigh.
Have also found undigested zytram in stool.
Is this indicative of IBS, or some other cause? What tests should I ask for?

with regrds to bowel problems you need to be e xamined with colonoscopy as a gold diagnostic test for colon.
If colonoscopy is normal we can say that you have IBS.
