Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Bacterial vaginosis is one of the most common vaginal infection in women.
The best treatment for this is antibiotics like metronidazole.
Metronidazole tablets should be taken twice a day for five to seven days.
You can also use clindamycin cream to the inside of the vagina once a day for seven days.
But recurrence is very common in this infection. So,whichever course of antibiotics you are prescribed, it is important to finish the course, even if you have started to feel better. This will help reduce the risk of symptoms persisting or recurring.
Hope you are happy with the answer.
Thank you.
