What Precautions Should Be Taken For Low Lying Placenta During Pregnancy?

I am 28 with 12-week gestation, my last week s scan showed i have posterior low-lying placenta which touches the os. Is there any possibility that it can become normal within my second trimester period or does it remain the same until delivery. My nearby GYN says that it might go up on its own within the 16th week. Is it right?? and what precautions should i take to make it happen so. Will i experience any kind of pain or changes due to this low-lying placenta??

Hi isee that you are pregnant with low lying placenta. And 12 weeksnow.till 30 weeks see that you avoid strenuous exerciseintercourse and longdistance travel and get yourself treated for urinary infection of asymptomatic bacturia there is no symptom other than intermittent bleeding or painless heavy bleeding just be alert to the symptom report immediately to the hospital.as for as placetna moving with uterinegrowth it does happen if the nidus was in the upper segment. To confirm i will request you to have scan around 30 to 32 weeks.regards .
