What Medication Is Suggested For Premature Ventricular Contractions?

Recently I was diagnosed with PVC's. While checking my blood pressure this morning, I noticed that my heart rate was only 48. I checked it a few minutes later and it went up to 50. Is that a normal range? Also I am diabetic, 48 years old, and my father passed away at the age of 55 due to heart disease.

Hi,
If you receive medication for PVCs , they slow heart rate. if you feel good, don't have dizziness, weakness, it is ok. But if you have mentioned complains you should see your doctor.
Not always but PVCs can be from ischemia. Your relatives have heart problems, you have diabetis, so you have relatively high risk for ischemic heart disease. You should follow healthy lifestyle, take medication regularly and be in a close follow-up to your doctor.
Wish you good health.
