my wife is currently in hospital for severe and persistant headache, stiff neck, vomitting and feels dizzy an weak. they have done a ctt scan, xray, urine test and blood test. All the medcal tests except for he blood showed no sign of infection. Apparently they said tha there was a slight infection in the blood which they said we should not wory to much about. they have lumbar puncture on her as a last resort since they have carried all the other major medical tests. they have admitted her and put her on antibiotics. When I have asked them why she is on antibiotics they said that they would be teating her for a possible meningitis, but i said to them did the LP prove that it was meningitis , they said they could not grow any bacteria but we have put her on this as a precaution. Secondly, my wife suffers from leakage from one of her nostrils(fluid dpps from the right) she is being seen by ent specialist who has done mri scan and sent a sample of the fluid for a lab test. My wife still gets the headache eventhough he has been on course o antibiotics for ten days. I thought that her headache could be related to her known condition of fluid leaking from her nostrils.
