Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am Rajesh, 27 years old with 172 cm height with 84 kg weight, i am experiencing faster heart beat(more that 130bps) very often when feel weak or when i run .. atleast once in a month.. i consult a local doctor in singapore, but he gave medication and asked me to take rest.. actually after 10-20 mins heart beat is getting normal even i am not taking any medicines. there is not heart problem before for me and also in my family history.
Are there any precipitating factor for your increased heart beat like anxiety, panic or exercise. After exercise 130 heart beat is not abnormal. If it's increasing after some anxiety or panic then we can give you some medicine. Also get your hemoglobin and thyroid tested once. Is it associated with any fainting, dizziness or chest pain? If not then probably it's benign and try to ignore it. If yes you'll need further investigations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar Makode
