What Is The Treatment For Discoloration Of The Hands?

Hi Doctor. My mother is 71 and within the last few days her hands look like she has soaked them in iodine. The color is starting to travel up her arms now. Her hands are very dry, but they don t seem swollen and aren t hurting her. The only medication she takes is for high blood pressure. Ever seen this before? Thank you.
