Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think that this pounds are liquids that need to go out of the body of a patient with congestiv heart failure in an acute faze. Elimination of liquids must be compare with the liquids that a patient drinks. I suggest you to see a cardiologist and to see if there is any need to low Lasix doses, to see electrolyts balance and to give a medication for high heart rate , like beta blockers or digoxin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
