What Is The Solution For Asthma Flaring Up After Using Cleaning Products?

My husband refinished our floors about 6 years ago and I started experiencing symptoms of asthma. It seems to flar up every time I use cleaning products. I do have mild asthma. What can I do to help my breathing get back to normal? I used an inhaler once and it help for about a week and the symptoms came back.
