My son aged 1 year 3 month is suffering severe cough,fever (upto 104.5) and vomiting.He was admiited in hospital and was given fluid RL ,emigo injection,T-98,flaxon ,nibulisation and monoceff anti biotic.He was admitted on 01.01.14 and discharged on 03.01.14.Blood test and urine test was conducted.Except CRP value which high ,other parameters are within limits.On the same date again fever came and after giving T-98 ,fever diminished.On 04.01.14 ,he was seen by another Doctor and medicines changed.He was prescribed maxtra-P-2.5 ml thrice a day,Defcort-5 ml -twice a day,Asthalin-2.5 ml thrice a day and a azitus-200-2.5 ml a day.After giving medicines,fever was not again came, but severe cough is continuing and it is increased today.Is Maxtra-p is safe for him of age one year three months as it is written in the pack that from 2 years? Is defcort safe.what to do?pl adsvise.
