hello and thanks for the query,

I understand your problem.
There are a few common causes in pregnancy.
1. anemia or low hemoglobin in blood. This may produce spells of dizziness and light headed ness.
2. low blood pressure: blood pressure decreases during pregnancy. This happens mainly after 24 -26 weeks but may occur earlier and produce dizziness.
3. low blood sugar: due to nausea and lack of appetite women eat less and may lead to dizziness.
4. ear problems are another common cause.

I suggest that you try to eat a little bit more. You are feeling tired and nauseated because of the hormones and this is natural. Try to eat a toast or something dry before getting up from the bed every morning and also get up very slowly. This helps to decrease nausea. Take small snacks especially fruits like grapes, oranges that provide quick energy. Milk with protein powder is also a good option. Do not eat fat and fried food as it is difficult to digest. If there is too much nausea, take tablet doxinate early in the morning and eat something an hour or so later. Low blood sugar is not good for the baby. So just eat small frequent meals and you will be fine. Also drink plenty of water to help improve blood flow and amniotic fluid to the baby.

Also get your hemogram done and blood pressure checked. If the problem still persists an ENT check up and physician evaluation will be needed. However I feel that this is due to pregnancy and will go away after a month or so.

Hope this was helpful. Thanks for using HCM
