What Is The Recommended Dosage Of Folic Acid(Floart) ?

Hi , I m taking now 5mg folic acid (Folart) for 2 months. i read it in the internet and said that the recommended dosage is 400 microgram per day. my OB Dr prescribed this to me when I was in Philippines (2 months ago). is it okay for me to continue taking this medicine? thanks..

hello,welcome to healthcare magic forum. yes it is OK,as 5mg=500microgram, so 100 micrograms does not make any difference, so you can keep on continuing 5mg it is safe and fine, thank you take care bye
