What Is The Reason For Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding?
Hi , my period was 45then days late and finally got it 12 days ago, Had normal bleeding for 3 days and stopped. 5 days ago I was bleeding and stopped the next day. The day after got it again and stopped. Now I still have but its more like spotting. Can you please tell me whats going on? Thank you in advance
I am so sorry to hear about this. Because you had a delayed period, it means the endometrial lining is a lot thicker than the normal and bleeding would be expected to be a little more and last longer than usual. I will suggest that you watch this closely and only report for further medical attention if bleeding should become abundant or last more than 7-10days.
I hope you find this helpful. I wish you well. Please, feel free to ask for more information if need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD.
