What Is The Permanent Treatment For Yeast Infection?
I suffer from PCOS and have yeast infections 1-2 times a month. I also take Metfromin 500mg 2x a day. I have used over the counter creams and have even been perscribed one from my doctor....and am tired of suffering, what can I do to get did of the yeast from my system permantly?
Since you are already having some insulin resistance problem( due to pcos), it looks that you are suffering from candidal infection. If you want to completely get rid of this thing, i would suggest you two things
1. Get a culture and sensitivity done for this infection because of high resistance to antifungals in some species of candida. According to sensitivity, take a full course of your medicines
2. Try to control your pcos and loose some extra weight to normalise your insulin levels, so that you won't become prone to infection next time
