Borderline - Between 5.0 to 25.0 mIU/ml (you could be pregnant)
Positive - Higher than 25.0 mIU/ml
As far as I know there isnt a difference in the HCG
levels between women with regular or irregular periods
, and that is the same when they are pregnant, it doesnt affect the HCG levels.
The HCG level increases as the pregnancy
progresses. It usually reaches its highest value at around the 9-12th week and after that it will start decreasing.
