What Is The Duration For Birth Control Pills To Be Taken After Unsafe Sex?
Hi. I just had unprotected sex 3 days ago. I took my first dose of emergency contraceptive (Nordette, levonorgestrel, 4pills) yesterday at 4 pm, but i was late in taking the second dose which i took this morning at 10am (it's supposed to be taken at 4am). Should i take another dose at 10pm to ensure the effectiveness of the EC? What should i do? Thanks.

You can take the next dose at 4 PM as scheduled. The effectiveness of the pill will not be affected.
