What Is The Cause Of Dizziness?

I have a pinched nerve at C5 C6...I have had an MRI and xrays which confirm the presence of bone spurs at levels C4, 5 & 6... I have been seeing a chiropractor since June of this year...and my pain, tingling, headaches are not getting any better. It is starting to affect my ability to work and have a social life. For the last 5 weeks I have been dizzy as well...I was treated for BPV which helped the nystamus...but the dizziness remains. I can turn my head in any direction...even sitting at my desk can cause me to get dizzy...is this from the pinched nerve?

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Chronic degenerations of the cervical spine can compress the vertebral arteries and lead to intermitrent dizziness when moving your neck.
But the dizziness is not related to the pinched nerve.
Coming to this point, physiotherapy can help improve the dizziness.
I would not recommend surgery if there is the spinal canal is free and there is no compression.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
