What Is The Cause Of Dehydration, Kidney Failure, Heavy Breathing And Abdominal Pain?

My husband is a diabetic he got sick suddenly with kidney failure and heavy breathing and glucose level of 39 he is also dehydrated and very tired with a terrible pain in his abdomen he is in hospital on normal saline now but what can be causing this?

There could be many reasons for this. What i feel probably happened was that he developed dehydration, possibly due to loosemotions and vomitting.

The dehydration would have led to renal compromise. This is very common because diabetics have compromised kidneys even normally.

Now because of renal failure, the medicine he was taking would not be well excreted, resulting in accumulation of the medicine in the body, and subsequent fall of blood sugars.
