Hello
Taking galvus met is not usually related to development of cracks in retina.
The retinal cracks are usually because of degenerations affecting the periphery of the retina. They can be seen as a result of ageing or in case of higher refractive erros.
Treatment is required in those cases of cracks which pose a risk of retinal detachment. The treatment is by prophylactic laser treatment.

Hence I advice you to consult your retinal specialist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
