What Is The Cause For Tender Spot On The Back Of The Head?

Hi, For several months, I have noticed tender spots, mostly on the top or back of my head. I ve also had some sinus pressure (mostly in the forehead), occasional ear discomfort, and feeling like i m swallowing tons of snot. The bruises/tender spots concern me, though the discomfort I feel in my head, of fogginess, and occasional waves of...sort of dizziness but not quite, are really annoying. I have slight hypochondriasis, but I just want to be well or understand what could be making me feel this way.

Hello,

The possibility of fibromyalgia or occipital neuralgia or migrainous headache or cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy or anxiety may present like this.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use physical therapy and yoga. Avoid stress related activities.

Use tablet naprosyn.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/rheumatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
