What Is The Broken Blood Vessel Below The Eye After A Stomach Virus?
I am a 48 year old black female. I was ill with a stomach virus 2 months ago which included heavy vomiting. After I was better I noticed what looks like a broken blood vessel under the right eye (black/blue and slightly swollen). It looks somewhat better but has not gone away. Help!

Due to forceful vomiting pressure in the orbital and Peri orbital veins rises.So there maybe tears in the Peri orbital,stomach and oesophageal veins.Tear in the Peri orbital veins leads to the formation of black eye.It will resolve in 3-4 weeks.
