What Is Pharyngitis? How To Treat It?

My baby is 16 month old. She was diagnosed pharyngitis caused by bacteria. Today is her second day of antibiotic treatment. (She is taking Pen-Vee K 125mg/5ml 1tsp 4 times daily) And she is still running low grade fever like about 37.7. Is it ok and how long could the fever occur? Thanks!
