Noted your history of taking phenoxymethylpenicillin 250 mg 2 tablets four times a day and ranitidine 150 mg one twice daily my first day of taking medications both my stomach bloating, diarrhea and itchy in my skin my question is it is normal being a side effects of the medications or stop taking it? It is possibly due to the disturbance of bacterial flora due to the medication that causes the bloating and diarrhea unless proved otherwise by stool and blood tests. Itching can be due to toxins produced by intestinal infection or due to some allergy to anything your eat or drink or anything in the atmosphere. Please discuss with your Doctor, get the symptomatic treatment as well as specific treatment as per the clinical picture and the lab reports. Stop the medicines and to change over to another if need be. Add on probiotics, banana, activated charcoal, yogurt and so on.
