What Is Fluid Sac Affecting Bright Light Vision?

I felt as if a bright light was being shone into the side of my eye. My mother had a detatched retina and I am concerned that this might be my problem. An optometrist friend who looked at it said something about a fluid sack. Can you shed any more light on my problem please?

Nothing like fluid sac. you have to get your eye examined. refraction and fundus examination is to be done. field examination may be done.with this examination reason for flash of lightto right of eye can be diagnosed. diabetes and hypertention is to be excluded.
