What Is Correct Dosage Of Duphaston 2 For PCOS?

I am 24 yr old. I am trying to get pregnant and was diagonised with pcos last sept. taking metformin 1 per day for last 3 months.i didnt got my period this month.my last period was on 11th dec 2013 .took home pregnancy test on my 34th day.it was negative.now when I called my gynac. she told me to take duphaston 2 per day for 3 days.why only 3 days??last time I took it for 10 days .should I take it for 10 days??

Hi

You can take duphaston as suggested for 3 days.You can watch for any bleeding 7 to 10 days after stopping the drug.If bleeding does not occur,then further assessment can be done.
