What Is Causing A Painless Bump Behind My Collar Bone?
For around 5 weeks I have had a bulge behind my right collar bone. When my arm is relaxed by my side the bulge is not very noticable and seems to be inside the gap between my collar bone and the muscle from my shoulder to my neck. But when I bring my arm up the bulge appears clearly and becomes much firmer. It does not cause any pain, but I do notice slight twinges in that area. My only other symptoms are an off balance feeling that I have had for around 5 months now, which started after a flu like illness.

Based on the facts of your query,you seem to have Lymph adenitis post Flu like illness 5 mths back and which has caused this bump behind the collar bone.
Possibility Reactive adenitis/ or TB adenitis with focus in throat or in the lungs around need to be examined.
FNAC biopsy with histopath study would give you the exact cause of it.
