What Dosage Of Metformin Is To Be Taken For Diabetes?

My fasting sugar is always in the average of 130+ and I take 500mg of Metformin. Is this dosage sufficient? Why does FBS continue to be over 130 despite medication? I also exercise 4 days a week for 30 mins each day and follow a decent vegan diet restriction. Pls answer. Thx

dear sir I can understand your concern.i am very happy for your efforts to have good control of diabetes.
in my opinion Fasting sugar is not the only thing which need to be considered .
there is some thing called average sugar that is Hba1c check if it is in control or not if it's more than 7 then I guess you may need to increase your meffoemin to 850 mg
