What Does Urinalysis Suggest? What Are Mucus Threads?

Have a good day doc.please interpret and what is the possibility of the result of my urinalyses Gross appearnce:yellow,slightly hazy, Reaction:6.5, Heat & HAc:trace, Albumin:trace,Amorphous urates:few, wbc /HPF:6-8 ,rbc/HPF:0-2, ePITHELIAL CELLS/HPF:10-15,BACTERIA:FEW, mucus thread:few...what does it mean?thank YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for your query.
The results of any laboratory test can be accurately interpreted only by correlating them with the patient's clinical condition.
Did you have any symptoms when the above tests were done?
From the results it looks like you may have a Urinary infection (UTI)
You need to do a urine culture to confirm this.

Hi!

A good day to you too!

Gross appearence of your urine is absoltutely normal except for little haziness

Microscopic findings indicate Albumin trace , few WBCs/hpf 6-8,few bacteria All these findings indicate mild urinary tract infection.

few Amorphous urate and mucus threads have no clinical significance and RBCs too are within range.

Have plenty of water.If symptoms persist please get a urine CULTURE done and a course of antibiotics accordingly will cure you.
