What Does This Ultrasound During 37 Weeks Of Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi good day.
I'm Sheila Villacorta and I'm 37weeks and 6days pregnant based on my LMP but based on my ultrasound I'm only 36weeks and 2days pregnant here is the result of my ultrasound HC-32.29 bpd-8.78 fl-7.21 ac-32.35. Is it normal? As per my OB May baby is small and lack of 1week and 4days based on my lmp?i can't exactly remember my LMP exact date but it is not far on what I gave to my OB. Is my baby healthy? His heart beat is 157. And what should I follow on my delivery the LMP or the ultrasound EDC? Thanks and more power.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your sonography at 37 weeks ( counting by LMP) shows normal growth for the gesatational period.
You are concerned because of the reading being 36 weeks few days. Actually in report sonologist always mension the gestational age to be +/_ 1 week.sonography can not differentiate minute difference of 1 week. So please don't worry.
Though pregnancy duration is calculated from last menstrual period, actual pregnancy is possible on ovulation day,which is 14th day in 28days cycle. This means the size of fetus has to be lesser than calculations based on LMP.
Similarly fetal growth also has variations from standard .
That is why expected date of delivery/sonographical reading is +/- 7 days
So you have to be ready for child birth, One week before or after the given EDD.
