Helo Doctor, I have received my thyroid report. T3: 91, T4: 6.8 and TSH 4.33 comment is given as suggesting thyronormalcy. I understood that the results are within the criteria. But of late I have been putting weight and don t seem to reduce at all. when I eat, I am gaining too much weight. please write to me at YYYY@YYYY
Hi I have gone through the report of your thyroid function test. Weight gain appears to be due to low dose of Levothyroxine. You need to increase the dose of Levothyroxine and its response or efficacy should be checked after 4-6 weeks by repeating the thryoid function test. The TSH should be in the range of 0.3 - 3 mIu/mL. Hope this will solve your problem of weight gain.
