What Does Thick Vaginal Discharge Indicate?
Started my birth control before I got my period and weeks later I was having extremely bad cramps so I stoped talking birth control pills and waited for my period to come but while on my period some kind of blob came out of my vagina. What was it? And to I restart my birth control now that I have my period?

You started pill for birth control. But due to pain you stopped it. During period you got thick vaginal discharge.
If discharge is thick then no need to worry. If you get any foul smell or change in colour or with pain then immediately consult your doctor.
Regarding pill, you can start the pill on 5th day of cycle for 3 weeks. Stop the pill for one week then again for next cycle on 5th day of cycle.
