What Does "suspected Arcuate Versus Subseptate Morphology" Mean?
what does this mean: Uterus measures 8.3 x 5.4 x 2.2 cm, with suspected arcuate versus subseptate morphology. Mildly heterogeneous myometrium, no focal lesion.
Endometrium 8 mm with small cystic spaces, in keeping with appearance related to tamoxifen. No focal lesion seen
There might be associated mild developmental variation in your uterus. A sub-septate uterus is a type of congenital uterine anomaly where partial septum involves endometrial canal but not cervix. An arcuate uterus is characterized by a mild indentation of the endometrium at the uterine fundus. It occurs as the result of near complete resorption of the uterovaginal septum. Though both are mild degree variations, sub septate uterus may be associated with reproductive failure.
The endometrium appearance is because of tamoxifen intake.
