Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the report is as follows: 1. The SGPT and SGOT are liver enzymes. These two enzymes are raised in liver diseases. Thus, a complete panel of liver function tests needs to be done to find out the cause of liver dysfunction. The other tests in the liver function tests include- bilirubin, total proteins, albumin, globulin, A:G ratio, alkaline phosphate, and gamma GT. 2. The cholesterol, triglyceride levels are also raised. The normal range for cholesterol is less than 200 mg/dl and normal range for triglycerides is less than 150 mg/dl. You need to take lipid lowering drugs. 3. The uric acid is slightly increased however, no treatment is required at this point. However, you should get the test repeated regularly.
