I have a lump around anus.. my gynaecologist told, it is caused because of anal fissures. My general surgeon told, let us leave them alone if it does not create any problem.. i have this for years, but i dont have any problem because of that...kindly suggest what it could be?
it could be any of these perianal lesions - an abscess formation, a fistula-in-ano, fissure, anal polyp or a hemorrhoid. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. diagnostics such as proctoscopy and management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
