What Does It Mean By Placenta Is Diffuse? Should I Be Worried About An Abortion?
hi, i am 9 weeks pregnant and i had a previous miscarriage/abortion at 6 weeks. i had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and everything in the report is normal and i got to hear heartbeats for the first time. My doc has prescribed me baycob,sujat and endogest 200.........Is everything normal as i keep worrying due to previous abortion. also the ultrasound report mentioned placenta is diffuse at present,what does it means??? ( crl was 10.3mm at 7 weeks 1 day).

I understand your concern.
You have to understand from your USG report that your baby is well & normal.
Placenta is an organ attaching baby to mother's circulation of blood .. and after baby birth it is shaded off.
Diffuse placenta describes pattern of of placental tissue . It has nothing to do with baby growth. Please don't worry.
