Why Are Folinin, Folvite And Shelcal Given During Pregnancy?

i am 25yrs of age, i have my 4th month of pregnency. this is third time i have conceived and all parameters are normal currently but earlier we ve had miscarriage twice once bcoz of blighted ovam and in second term we were diagnosed with turner s syndrome, hence twins couldnt survive. Now, drs has kept me on folinin, folvite, shelcall500, is it okay?

Hi,

Yes. That's absolutely okay. You should continue Folinin, Folvite, and Shelcal. As you have already entered into second trimester of pregnancy, you can also add on iron supplements under guidance of your gynecologist.
